This is a Sinotruk HOWO TX 8×4 (12-wheeler) dump tipper truck, an export-only model and a popular heavy-duty vehicle in the African engineering market. The truck features a custom red, white and blue paint scheme with high recognizability. It is fitted with a wide TX-series cabin that offers a broad field of vision. Equipped with suspension and an air-conditioning system, the cabin delivers good comfort for long-hour operations. It is powered by a 371 HP mechanical pump engine, which works well with fuels available in Africa. The engine is robust and durable, with abundant spare parts and well-established local service networks. Paired with a Sinotruk manual transmission, it has ample torque reserve and strong climbing capability under heavy loads. The 8×4 four-axle configuration provides outstanding load capacity, suitable for hauling earth, stone, sand, muck and mining materials. A headlight guard is installed on the front bumper to protect the lamps from damage caused by flying gravel at construction and mine sites. The U-type cargo box is built from high-strength wear-resistant steel plate. Thickness options include 10 mm for the floor and 8 mm for the side walls. It adopts a front-mounted hydraulic lifting cylinder for stable lifting and fast unloading. Large-size off-road engineering tires deliver reliable traction, suitable for dirt roads and unpaved mine tracks. With a solid structure, the truck can carry 30–40 tons.
