How we review suppliers and trucks
How the platform reviews suppliers and trucks, and what each review result does and does not mean.
The review process
- The user registers an account.
- The user submits the required materials and applies to become a supplier.
- Our staff check the materials and the authenticity of the related trucks, item by item.
- Suppliers that meet the requirements are admitted.
- After admission, the platform arranges for staff to visit the supplier’s factory.
- Truck information a supplier uploads is shown only after the platform has reviewed it.
Three separate steps
These three steps are independent: completing one does not mean the others have been completed.
- Admission: the supplier’s materials have been checked item by item by our staff and the supplier has been admitted.
- Truck information approved: each truck is shown only after its information has been reviewed; when a listed truck’s information changes, it is reviewed again.
- On-site visit completed: platform staff have visited the supplier’s factory. Being admitted does not mean this visit has taken place.
What review marks mean
A review or verification mark on the platform (such as “Approved supplier”) means only that the review step the mark expressly describes has been completed. It should not be read as a factory audit, an on-site inspection of each truck, a third-party appraisal or a guarantee of condition.
The on-site visit is as shown by the completion status, date and scope the platform expressly displays.
What a review does not replace
Review results reflect the situation at the time and within the scope of the review. They are not a guarantee of a supplier’s future performance, of a truck’s full condition or of the outcome of a transaction.
Before signing or paying, buyers should verify who they are dealing with and the truck’s identity, condition, ownership and required documents, and set out both parties’ rights and obligations in a written contract; where professional judgement is needed, they may engage a qualified independent inspector. The platform does not collect payments, does not hold funds in escrow and is not a party to any vehicle sales contract.
If you find a problem
If you find inaccurate truck information or unusual supplier behaviour, please email shandongyiteauto@yiteauto.com with the link to the supplier or truck page, a description of the problem and any supporting evidence.
